Method Man
You know times have to be hard to get arrested for tax evasion of “only” $32,799. Surely Method Man’s royalties for music still being played on the radio and purchased on iTunes should have been able to save him from arrest.
Right?
It takes years to get arrested for tax evasion. It takes a bunch of ignored letters and phone calls from the IRS to get arrested for tax evasion. He could’ve tried to set up a payment plan and bought himself more time. Anyhow, Method Man, goes the route of Wesley Snipes…but for a whole lot less.
Uncle Sam always gets his money. Always.
Imagine that…the guy who made a career out of extolling the virtues of smoking pot didn’t have a clear enough mind or business sense to avoid getting arrested for tax evasion.
Coincidence? I think not.
