The Mo’Kelly Report

Staples Center Turns Down Mo’Kelly!

(Not that Mo’Kelly ‘wanted’ to go or even could go, given the day job responsibilities.  But that’s beside the point.  The powers that be should have been HONORED to have Mo’Kelly in attendance, or at least extend a ticket or two.  The real question is, who will have more people in attendance, Michael Jackson’s funeral or Barack Obama’s inauguration.  Don’t laugh…think about it for a moment.)

I received the same e-mail this morning, with my e-mail address in place of yours. :)

This is really sad. It almost makes you not wanna go if you had the chance to go.

I never thought I’d see the day where folks were buying tickets to a funeral. I wouldn’t be surprised if the organizers themselves aren’t posing as fans who “won” tickets. Hmm….

The spectacle that will be MJ’s funeral is sad and that’s putting it mildly! He couldn’t find peace in life and even in his death, they still won’t let him rest!! I won’t lie, I will be watching it (kinda like that traffic accident on the freeway-its none of your business, but you can’t help but look), but to sell tickets; to have it shown on movie theater screens across the country; to have EVERY MAJOR network interupt their regularly scheduled programming?? That’s OUTRAGEOUS (Lionel Ritchie grammy’s circa 1986)!! And as for the comparison in numbers to Obama’s Inauguration; they will definetely rival one another-no doubt.

Damn wish I had registered just to get the cool momento. I am looking forward to the memorial. It is a celebration. Michael loved his fans and we love him too.

It’s okay Mo. Light a candle. Play your favorite MJ song. Memorialize him right where you are. (I hate rejection too!)

Sorry MO. I would have loved to have read your commentary!

I’m actually impressed that they got back with everyone with an answer.

Tremendous amount of people to contact on such short notice.
