But riddle me this: Why wasn’t his family allowed to be “co-executors” of his estate?

But seriously, I feel this way because MJ became the way he was because he got away from his family. (In my opinion)

Comment by Chris 07.01.2009 @ 11:00 AMIt seems as if Diana would be next in line…provided that Katherine doesn’t subsequently adjust her own will to reflect her wishes in regards to the grandkids. I would have to assume barring a catastrophe…that’s what she does and Diana is no longer in the equation.

I think the single biggest reason why Michael didn’t appoint his family as co-executors of his estate – he knew there would be years and years of infighting between his siblings and perhaps his father Joe. As well as poor investment decisions which would result in his 3 children not having much of an estate to benefit from.
It was an interesting twist seeing Diana Ross’ name in the will.
I hate to say, but I’m just waiting for the other shoe to drop – the biological parents of the 3 children coming forward to claim their parental rights.
